This policy explains what personal data the Kawis website collects and how it is used. It is written for visitors from the UK, the EU and elsewhere, and follows the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and Türkiye's personal data law (KVKK).

Who we are

Kawis (KawisClothes) is a sole proprietorship based in Kayseri, Türkiye. We are the data controller for this website. Contact: bugrahangonen0@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the site can be delivered and protected from abuse.
• Analytics and advertising data — only if you accept cookies. If you click “Accept”, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads to count visits, see which pages are used, and measure whether our ads lead to enquiries (for example, a click on a WhatsApp or Telegram button). If you click “Reject” or do nothing, these tools do not set cookies.
• Campaign information — only if you accept cookies. If you arrive from an ad, the link may contain a click ID or campaign tags. With your consent we keep these in your browser's local storage so we can tell which campaign brought you. We never add them to your WhatsApp message.
• Messages you send us. The website has no contact form. If you message us on WhatsApp or Telegram, or e-mail us, we receive your name, number or address and what you write. These conversations are stored by those services and on our devices, and we use them only to answer you and handle your order.

Cookies and similar storage

• Your cookie choice is stored in your browser's local storage (key kawis_consent) so we don't ask again. This is necessary for the site to respect your choice.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies (for example _ga, _gcl_au) are set only after you click “Accept”.

You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Why we use your data (legal basis)

• Delivering and securing the website: our legitimate interest.
• Analytics and advertising measurement: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Answering your messages and handling orders: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract.

Who receives data

Vercel (hosting), Google (analytics and advertising, only with consent), and WhatsApp/Meta and Telegram when you choose to contact us through them. Some of these providers process data outside the UK/EU, including in the United States, under their own safeguards. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google account (at most 14 months). Order-related conversations are kept as long as needed for the business relationship and our legal record-keeping duties.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy, and you can object to processing or withdraw consent. E-mail us and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the ICO in the UK, the authority in your EU country, or the KVKK Authority in Türkiye.
